GRIZ/ NAU thread

Nice mini-run! Keep up the Defensive intensity.

And I love the props that NAU announcer is giving the Griz and especially Mick.
 
Pedal to the metal. There's such a huge difference between this game, where they are attacking the basket, and the Bobcat game, where they were staying on the perimeter and shooting jump shots and 3 pointers. Griz 56-48.
 
Run the floor and if the shots not there. Pound it in the Paint.
The griz are built for that type of game.
 
This road trip should be a real confidence booster, showing they can win the rest of their conference games if they keep playing like this.
 
Cherry steal and layup.... a "dagger in the gut" as the announcer says.... Griz up 77-57 with 2:00 to go ... nice to see Cherry make 3 of 4 FTs too.
 
TERRIFIC guard play today. I've been critical of their defense, particularly their inability to prevent penetration. But today, both Cherry and AJ have been spectacular.

The Griz are now going to be +2 with a very favorable schedule, including only 2 remaining road games, both of which are winnable. Protect the home court and you shoudl be in great shape.
