GRIZ/NAU semifinal game thread

NO PUNCHES thrown or even remotely in the vicinity of a punch. TD was waiting to shake hands and Murphy, and for whatever reason, Murphy pushed him right in the chest with his index finger and said something instead of shaking his hand. TD responded to it and a verbal brawl ensued. Ken Bone, on the radio broadcast said that they already reviewed the film and TD never touched Murphy in any way. He also said the Griz players acted as the coaching staff would hope in a situation like that, and did nothing more than try to continue shaking hands with NAU players.

He said that he hopes the conference views the video not that they have viewed the video.

Perhaps he meant that the Griz coaching staff had reviewed the video. I'm glad someone's feed was working.

Nice win for the Griz tonight, should be a helluva game tomorrow. The big sky will be well represented on TV with its two best teams playing.

It was just moments after the game. I don't think he would have had the time to watch a video. Too busy getting the players off the court. Hav is right though that he spoke with confidence and conviction about what happened. He made it sound like it was all on the NAU coaching staff. Good thing Jerome doesn't pull that shit. He's at high risk of a heart attack.

It is turning out as it should be. Rubber match for all the marbles....
Go Griz!

Should be a good game tomorrow, Griz fans. UM and EWU are both deserving of a bid. The conference will be well represented regardless of who goes through. The Griz outrebounded and outhustled NAU tonight. Those are things few teams have done since the first half of conference play.

Someone post the video. I wouldn't say I "want" to see this but it's like a car wreck....I can't look away. Murphy is definitely a fiery personality and I can see him losing it for a moment.

Not saying it would change the complexion of the game but.... what are the official rules on players leaving the bench onto the court. Radio coverage said that was the reason for the delay after Gregory's layup at the end. Probably the reason that Murphy seemed to have lost it.

My feed was frozen so it just looked like a still of the slow dance at the Senior Prom.

Good thing the Grizzlies never get the benefit of the doubt from BSC officials...

Great game, Mt. Jack!! What a bizarre finish. The big sky refs are incompetent enough just calling a game let alone putting the added responsibility of fucking up the video calls, I have no idea about the rule but it was a CF.

According to the radio feed, it wasn't a tech because the Griz player left the bench after the clock had already hit zero, and the fan the was on the court didn't interfere directly with the play.
