Griz move down to #15

That should prove there are high opinions of the griz out there; at least among the mid major elite.

Lose two games on the road to cellar dwellars in the conference, I actually think this poll is based on records, nothing more

Losing on the road doesn't hurt us too much in terms of RPI really, even if it is to a couple of the bottom teams in the Big Sky.

Even so, I'm surprised the Griz only moved down to #15. I figured they'd be ranked a bit further down than 15 after those two losses.

Hopefully this most recent loss to ISU (I'm still recovering from that :puke: ) will be sort of a wake up call for the Griz and we won't see any more 2nd half meltdowns this year. This team is too good of a team for that to continue.

I'm suprised Montana didn't fall further as well. Two losses to sub .500 teams, yeah they were on the road, but you gotta expect to split those.

How Northern Iowa isn't getting every 2nd place vote is beyond me. They were ranked in the normal poll - so I think that makes it automatic.

Then you look at Missouri State. They drop a close home game to Wichita State and then a tough road game to Bradley, and all of a sudden they drop out of the rankings entirely? They rebounded with 3 wins and still can't crack the top 25. I think they deserve to be in the top 10.

UC-Irvine in the top 25 is a joke. They lost to UC-Davis and a Non D-1 team at home this year.

And Kent State is riding their name this year. They lost at home to Bowling Green (231) recently and are in the top 10?

A lot of mid-majors are slipping up right around this time though. So its not only Montana. Up until this week, it looked like 9 or 10 teams could get at-large bids from the mid-major conferences. Now I'd say that number is down to 5 or 6.
