Griz-Miss Val

It looks as though there's no link to listen to the game, but at least the Live Stats link on www.montanagrizzlies.com is working.

Griz kicking their ass, 35-18 with 4:12 left in 1st half. Griz holding them to 20 % shooting. Nice to see Chavez back on track after last weeks poor outing.

Wow. Either the Griz are playing lights out D or Miss Valley are some serious brick-layers. They're shooting 26% late in the first half. Griz 37-18.

It's nice seeing the Griz blow out a team they should blow out. A solid half of BB: Griz shooting 50%; holding MVS to 29%; Only 5 TOs for the Griz.

On a side note, Montana is #1 in RPI in the BSC in both Men's and Women's hoops, and by a large margin.

And didn't I read somewhere that the Cats had like the 311th ranked schedule in the country?? Out of 319 teams, that's dispicable. No wonder the BSC gets no cred. And hell, they can't even win those games.

I didn't think our schedule was tough enough either. Denver is our top-rated opponent, I think. MSU needs to set up a tougher schedule. It's going to hurt the conference at some point.

BSC RPI is ok, but the strength of schedule is killing the conference. There are not that many big names schools that will give you a home and home, at best you usually get a 2 for 1.

That is one thing that has always pissed me off. I think guys like Montie when he was at Stanford, Morrill at Utah State, Taylor at Old Dominion, could give back by scheduling home and home with the Griz. If they had not gotten their starts at UM, they would not be where they are now.

Griz shot 51.9%. Keep shooting like that and defense improves like it has been, Griz are going to be a very good team. Much better than I thought prior to season starting. They already are a good team. Just better than I ever thought.

Criswell scored 18 points, Strait scored 17 points, Chavez Scored 12 points.

I listened to only a bit of it, and the only people in attendance must have been the players. All I heard was Mick and whatever noise the players made.

I am at the Drake tourney, that was the worst team I have ever seen in Div 1 basketball. Griz didn't even try in the second half, they were all just laughin and relaxed at half time. Look for the griz to run the ball against the drake press, a lot of 3 on 2 oppurtunities. Big guys should have there way inside for us, and Drake has one good guy, a guard number 3 who penetrated NDSU.
