grizzlyjournal said:Just listened to the pre-game interviews of coach Cobb and DeCuire with Riley Corcoran. Several interesting facts offered: SDSU has the longest home-court winning streak in the country (26). The last team to beat them on their home floor: Montana in 2013. Additionally, Cobb and coach DeCuire said that "this region is the most difficult in the nation to win on the road... for reasons I can't speak of..." Hmmm. As in what happened to the Griz against South Dakota last season? That said, both Cobb and Deuire said SDSU is probably the best offensive team Montana will play this year (better than Creighton!) and Daum is the best offensive player in the country, but that Jenkins (Griz recruited him two years ago) and Flatten probably have higher NBA projections. It'll be a tough game, but strong hints that Akoh will be back and... that Montana should have bettere open looks at the 3 than in past games. Go Griz
Daum was legit (for a mid-major under-sized white Power-guy). There I said it. Yeah he's a baller and a gamer and does all the little things that pay off in college, but once you get to the NBA none of that matters. He'll get a look, but I don't see him as a legit NBA-er for long. See:Nate Wolters, who they said the same thing about.
