Gross. Didn't deserve that one. Shows the tourney will be a major toss up as, I think we are the best team, announcer said we were the hottest team in Big Sky, but I dont think we have been hot we are just better than the other teams, but I think we will need to get hot to win the tourney as we are not good enough to handle mediocre teams on the road.

You can't blame this on refs. UM simply fouls too much EVERY game. Had NAU hit them all, it would have not been close. This is a weakness UM has shown this year and defensive rebounding is atrocious. The good news is that there are two games before the tournament to reform and win both.HookedonGriz said:

Griz turned the ball over 14 times and got outrebounded. Foul differential was a whopping 5 and ended up 17 for UM and 12 for NAU. The refs let teams play and didn't seem to try to control the flow of the game with excessive whistles. Both teams displayed solid defense.
UM took their foot off the gas the last few minutes and they lost a road game to a Jacks team that plays well at home. I still think UM still wins the league.

TD's trademark is the aggressive defense, and with that there will be fouls. It is just part of the game that TD is comfortable with and will not be a change. I would say that the Griz have to be more aggressive on offense, so they can shoot more ft's themselves.

I only caught the last 1:30 of the game....I find it an incredible statistic that the Lumberjacks never fouled the Griz ONCE while attempting a shot. Not once. It’s like a fucking Christmas miracle in Flagstaff. All those layups, all those shots in the key, not a single foul. Not a single “and one” opportunity. Never seen such a thing.
