Griz lose to Zags

Read the "Box score" on yahoo sports showed Kamaar Davis had a good game, but the Griz had something like 19 turnovers and shot 39%.

The Zags in the box score had a 14 point lead at the half, and wound up winning by 16. So we held our own in the 2nd, but needed a bigger start in the 1st

Slow first half 1 - 0 GU five minutes into the game. Played them pretty tight for a while, but they had too much firepower. Davis had a fair game, but seemed too soft inside, needs to use the glass and power it up. Criswell would have been a factor.

Defense and rebounding good most of the time. Offense was very confused. Griz got alsmost nothing off the transition. Too many turnovers + a little home cooking with the referees.

Griz didn't shoot too well. I liked the hustle on the perimeter. They played decent defense and rebounded pretty well. They either looked like they will be very competetive or the Zags will flop.

I watched GU play both the Griz and Portland St and I have to say that PSU looked a lot better than the Griz did. That said, GU played 100% better defense against the Griz than they did against PSU>
