part of the fun of following the football program over the past several years has been to track the coaches and players that went on to successful careers in the pros, extending the griz legacy and brand nationwide. cutdown day in the nfl has become a significant date on griz football board.
but now the basketball board is beginning to share in that fun. will cherry has made an nba roster, brian qvale is knocking on the door. the tinkle-krystkowiak relationship has now blossomed into a rivalry that will play out nationally in the pac 12, embellishing the montana program every time it's brought up. we meanwhile will enjoy watching our own legacy player and coach, travis decuire, build what i think will be an even stronger program at montana. good times for griz basketball.
