Griz & Lady Griz BB games versus MSU to be televised by Max Media/ABC/FOX

The annual Griz-Cat and Lady Griz-Lady Cats regular-season intra-state rivalry basketball games for the 2012-13 season, featuring the Treasure State's University of Montana Grizzlies and Montana State University Bobcats, will be televised by Max Media (ABC/FOX), the two schools announced today (Monday, Dec. 10).

The first of the teams' two regular-season encounters are just a few weeks away, as they square off in Missoula on Saturday, Jan. 19th. The Lady Griz game tips off at 3:05 p.m. in UM's Dahlberg Arena, while the men's contest start at 7:05 p.m.

The teams meet again March 2 in Bozeman, and those game will also tip off at 3:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m., respectively, in MSU's Brick Breeden Field House.

For tickets to the upcoming two games in Missoula please call the Adams Center Ticket Office at 406-243-4051 OR 888-MONTANA (888-666-8262).

THANK YOU! When I read earlier in the year that they wouldn't be televised at all I was surprised and ticked off. Glad someone picked it up.

Great news! Hopefully they will make the sat cooridinates available for those of us outside Montana.
 
the ladies for the past few years seem to have these baffling almost ripley-esque espisodes of shooting woes. against wyoming, three of our best players--baker, hill and cole--shot a believe-it-or-not 0-17. how can that be? how can three of your best players go 0-17? i wonder in the history of college basketball if that has ever happened before. three drunken rodeo clowns could shoot better than that!

here's what i would do if i were selvig. load the team into a van. drive down 93 till they come to the first barn. get out. give each player a basketball and have them walk within 15 paces of the barn. and then tell them, "hit it!"

course, if robin were driving, it's 50-50 they'd find 93.

I really hope this is a joke. And what is that even supposed to mean about Robin? Please tell me I've fallen victim to a terrible joke... :roll:
 
Selvig has the rep for being a poor driver with a less than spectacular sense of direction. For years his players have made fun of him over it.

AWF u done sparked some crazy memories son! that pic looks JUST like my dads brother and his two partners when they come to my eleventh bday. those nigs show up as rodeo clowners and chase me around like im a wild ass baby steer but when they finaly catch me after the party I got milked like a saggy old cow! HAHAHA. moms made me see a psychologist at school and I remember hating it at the time but as I got older I realize its pretty normal and kinda funny.

i went to high school with those guys...
 
i'm going to go out on a limb and say i expect the womens cat-griz games are going to be much more competitive than the mens cat griz games. :cry:



praying i'm somehow wrong on that.
