Yeah, I was probably expecting too much from a Cat fan. I also don't understand what it has to do with fandom, since I was just making fun of you individually.

I have no smack. Just observations. The amount of hubris and overconfidence with Cat fans is incredible these days. I love backing your team and reveling in their victories, but it has been over the top. This one will sting if the Cats lose. More than usual actually. After the beat down last year I expected something a bit different. I watched Hauck’s press conference and one thing was clear. He has great respect for Vigen as a coach and the style of ball he has his team playing. Maybe not so much for Mellot based on his responses. Hilarious the voice inflection. A compliment somewhat for the Butte lad. Loved O’Connell’s and Robert’s answers. Very poised and even keeled. RH - I won’t comment on since I think the kid has experienced the stress of being a coaches son. A very heavy burden and the young man has done a very good job of holding up under that pressure. Bottom line, the Griz appear confident and not arrogant. They know the routine and will come ready to play. Bummer about Johnson’s broken femur. That is the breaks and Britt will kill it for sure.

I would like a poll to see how many posters have actually played football for the Griz.
I played for the Griz in the 60’s. Then coached football for 30 years.
I am pushing 80 years old and want the Griz to win another title, probably more than most (many) of you.
I have been a season ticket holder for over 50 years and have been becoming ashamed of some of Griz Nation.
I was a Missoula Diplomat in the 80’s helping to build businesses in Missoula.
There are so many fans that did not even go to school at U of M that badmouth the program when games go wrong, it makes me sick.
I do not post very often and I may be on the early signs of dementia, but gosh we have a lot of fair weather fans.
Last month it there was a call for Rosenbach and Germer to be fired.
Bobby is not the best with the press but he is a good coach. If he was not there would certainly be no Montana recruits that would play for him.
If the Griz lose this weekend and do not make the playoffs I would like Coach to explain where he is going to make adjustments.
I think/believe this is the year. We lose a lot next year. and if we do not make it to Frisco this year we will have to wait until at least the 2024 campaign with the Chipper at the beginning of 2025.
I drink Heineken all the time and my friends East of the divide told me that Heineken is the beer of choice at the stadium in Frisco.
Also a lot of you are whiny bitches. If any of my granddaughters wants to marry someone who posts frequently on eGriz I hope I am dead.
I may not be as cool as Griz Granny, but at least I am not as arrogant as PR/MT Hoops. (Though I did go to Grad School with some boys from Dartmouth. I graduated with distinguished honors, they did not.)
