This makes no sense, if it was a shooting foul then the basket should have counted, not waved off, and I know we weren't in the bonus at that point. That was really the only WTF moment by the officials tonight.
The shot was not allowed because of basket interference by Deshields. I was pissed at 1st. The replay showed it, and the officials made the right call. Tinkle was pissed off too, but not at the officials. He was livid at Deshields. I am sure Keron got a little butt chewing and a lot of ribbing after that one.
Man Colman looked like the player we all expected, then some in the 2nd half. He was a total stud. He and Jamar have very good chemistry on the court.
+1 on Coleman. He's really made some great strides this year and is finally looking comfortable in his role these last few games. I would like to see him starting but he is also a great 6th man and may actually be better in that role. I don't see him starting this Saturday mainly because of the matchup with Tresnak. I think out of Weber's first 10 points Tresnak will have 6 to 8 of them. I think Tresnak is going to get his points so it's going to be important to try and limit what Berry and Bamforth do. Oh, and hope they miss their FTs.
Colman won't start being he is so good at his role now. Also, many coaches like having very versatile players coming off the bench as 6th men. Spencer is about as versatile as it gets. He scores inside, outside, and crashing. Defensively the guy guards the perimeter great, rebounds good , and is can guard any position in switches. His game is perfect for the 6th man, as is Deshields for his energy.
