I hate quality Losses.. but this is one.

Damn, Griz lose by 4. However, Griz have to feel OK with the loss considering how they played. Their defense was great, Cherry was great after he settled down. I love Qvale's inside game. If Tinkle and Co. can't get him involved in every game this year it will be criminal. This was the Grizzlies game, they lost it at the line. They hit their free throws at the end and this could have been a tremendous weekend for Grizzly athletics.
 
That was really heartbreaking. The Griz had them and should have been able to take them. Too many mistakes late in the game.

Really glad to see the Griz compete well with the #14 ranked team in the nation.

I am sure proud of the Griz. Go Griz!

Tossing up bricks? I think he also got burned a few times, too. That's my guesses.
 
I think it is obvious that when Qvale is in the Game the Griz can beat anyone...

Also Cherry had his best game by far 15 points this guy is going to light up the BSC in the next few years.

There sure were a lot of offensive fouls on the Griz. I have never seen so many called in a game.
 
Amen,what a weekend..Griz need Q on the floor, but very good D ,,going to be a fun BSky conf for a change, the BkSy is going to be at tough run. GO GRiz!
 
Not exactly fair and balanced officiating! :evil: Still, I suspect this is the norm when the Huskies play at home. Great game by Cherry and BQ! Too bad Stauds went cold when he got some late open looks. The Griz did a nice job of answering the Huskies run late. Pretty encouraging overall. :)
 
Tonights game will be great preparation for the screwing you always get on the road in the BSC. The Griz need to play through it, and not make unforced errors. Good to see Cherry shake off the 1st half and dominate the 2nd. Qvale by far the most improved big man in the league. This team has got some mental toughness, unlike the last few years, so I think they will be a load to contend with in league.

Disappointing loss, but a lot of good things as well. I like this team.
 
Eyeballing the sad results of games played by our basketball conference counterparts over the past two weeks and the lackluster efforts of EWU and WSU in the FCS playoffs opposed to the Griz win against So Dakota St and the strong efforts of the basketball team in road splits with Oregon and Washington it should be evident once again to any objective fan..... WE DON'T BELONG IN THIS RINKY DINK CONFERENCE! We are flat out too good for this hopeless gang of underachievers.

More quality depth than recent years and Quale has really stepped up his game. Don't normally like to say it, but I thought the Griz got jobbed by the zebras. Seems like UW had a 12 point margin from the line and the calls didn't look like they were called the same way for the Griz as the Huskies.
 
We had it. Damn. There were 4-5 turnovers that were 100% unforced-ones that made ya go "hmmmm". And 20 or so total to's.

How about Tink's telling the ref they were f'ing us and they f'ing sucked...NO "T". :o But there was a stretch there that made me (an official supporter) shake my head.

With that said, I liked what I seen. Should be a good year for Tinks' crew.
