GRIZ HC job

We need to recruit some talent at key positions....coach can't win without talent. It really hurt us when we lost our starting qb. Many other positions need help....

Knows the recruiting territory has coached in the FBS as well as D2 and has built up a winner. Downside is he has a black mark on his record which may not fly here. He is under consideration for the CSU job.

ya i'm not sure it would be wise for um to hire a guy who has been charged with domestic violence as well as drinking and driving...
Interesting; the black marks are from 12 and 15 years ago. Solid track record.
Sandusky's black marks at Penn State were from 13 years ago...or more.

I wish Drew Miller was ready. He will be a very good head coach someday.
He is more ready than some of the suggestions here, particularly from the NAIA lovers.
Have to disagree and from talking to him he'd agree with me. Although, he would be an INCREDIBLE offensive coordinator and our "O" would NOT consist of the HIGHLY predictable run, run, pass, punt that seems to plague the current offense.

Sandusky's continued to the present and sexual assault on kids on the premises of the University is hardly comparable to spanking your kid and getting a DUI over a decade ago with no problems since. Not to be compared; quit arguing just to argue.

The best person to be UM's next HC should be somebody that nobody on egriz ever heard of. It's time to end the short-sighted era of incestuous/nepotic hires that only perpetuate a failed philosophy. It's time to move on...

I am wondering if we could get Mike Bellotti the former Oregon coach. ESPN let him go and he is young and might want to get back into coaching

Geez...someone's a little thin skinned. Just joking with you, chillax.

First we are required to have an open spot for a head coach. None is available at U of M football.

If it becomes open I am wishing for a new man we have not seen mentioned........or woman. We will require a good coach no question about it.

Please read Silvertip's post as he is correct. I would add that the same principle applies to president or AD.

I'm not suggesting anyone, because Coach Mick "Snots" Delaney will be here for another year. That's a fact.

And Bobby Hauck will be at UNLV for atleast 4 more years... yes, he will get an extension. Contrary to what we think up here in Montana, the powers that be at UNLV are starting to see what BH is doing and liking it. You'll see the Rebels make some noise in the Mountain West next year. But the obvious... Hauck is too cocky to come back to UM and swallow some pride. Come on.

BH already got an extension during the offseason. Are you talking about another one? I agree w/ you he's building a good program, and hope they let him see it through.

On the UNLV fan board, many have kept calling for his firing & shopping for a new HC. Not too different from this board, I think. One thread is titled that BH will be fired end of this season if not before. Maybe wishful thinking. Hope you have better info than they do.
