Griz have a new coach

Don't want to count the chickens before they hatch but if all works out as planned, Kent Haslam will have made a great hire. When I learned that Mike gave Travis his personal endorsement and Travis finished second for the OSU job, I thought it would be great for UM to pursue Travis. He has serious connections up and down the Left Coast. Has anybody been at UM for only 2-3 years as bb coach, other than Hogan's BFF Pat Kennedy?

Sounds like a great hire. Hopefully, he can get Stew Morrill to do a home and home with the Griz.

From the outside looking in this looks like a no-brainer home run hire. Congrats to the powers that be for NOT screwing this up. In my limited knowledge of your new coach, he seems like a great addition to the Griz and the big Sky.
