Griz GPA

The Men's basketball team had a combined GPA of 3.21 First Semester? That is impressive, nice work. I think that would compare pretty favorably with other schools in the Big Sky.

That's really great. Krysto is doing a great job of recruiting quality kids that might be able to play a little bit. Hopefully he's not there very long.

I was at the U from 2000-2004. I think I remember hearing one semester the team have a GPA of somewhere between 1.8 and 2.3. This is a huge improvement if it is true. Not only does Krysco have good athletes, he has quality people on the team.

That is one of many things I love about Krysko. He doesn't accept second rate effort on or off the floor. He makes it a priority. It is nice to not have to wonder who has to sit for a while to get their grades up. This is supposed to be about getting an education first, basketball second. Thanks to Krysko we are on the right track.

Plus we won't have to listen to Cat fans moan about the intersession this year.
This is one of the biggest reason I am glad. I hate hearing the MSU fans talk about wintersession.

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen that kind of GPA out of a men's sport. That's impressive. Nice work by the Grizzlies. (That was hard to say. :drinking::silly: ) It shows that Krysko is the best coach that the Grizzlies could have found and that's really bad news for the rest of the Big Sky.

Not from me, anyway. But now I can't make fun of the Grizzlies. Just kidding. Unfortunately, there's now reason to make fun of them right now.

Always good to hear that from cat fans...

Very impressive. Congrat's to the four that made the dean's list. :thumb:

The Grizzlies finished first semester with a 3.21 cumulative grade point average, fourth among the 14 sports. Nine players had better than a 3.0, four made the dean's list and one made the 4.0 list.
