On NWCN "Northwest Sports Tonight" late Monday Paul Silvi spoke with a sportscaster from KREM-TV in Spokane about Gonzaga's seeding in the NCAA. GU was slated a #1 seed by CBS and playing Mercer in Salt Lake and #2 by Joe Lunardi of ESPN playing Long Beach State in Salt Lake, while Sports Illustrated had GU a #3 seed playing MONTANA (means the Griz would be getting an #11 seed) in San Jose. And..the KREM guy called the Griz "the Big Sky champs"...just a little premature! Hmmm.... :o
