The Griz were on fire considering this was the second game of a frustrating road trip.

This Season, new coach, ranked low, has turned into one of those movie script seasons. An unselfish team, shows what a "team" can do.

Eags played a great game, anybody that can beat them isn't by accident. Beating them by "1" is a measure of how good they are.

Went from thinking there was no hope for hosting after losing @Idaho to all of a sudden being right back in the hunt if we take care of the Cats. Sac has to play @PSU tonight, @SUU and @NAU to finish their season. EWU has @ISU and @Weber left. NAU has @UNC (Tonight) then PSU & Sac at home.

Holy shit what a fun game to watch. Two very good teams out there battling to the end. EWU fans have to be pleased with what their coach is doing down there bringing in some great talent and unlike previous coaches actually getting very good results with it.

Travis DeCuire just told Mick Holien on the post-game show that -- as the Griz were ready to take the floor prior to the beginning of the game -- that they were instructed by officials that the team should take a side door out of the gym after the final buzzer... as the students, quote: "Storm the court after the final buzzer."

DeCuire said that was the perfect motivator for the Griz.
