GRIZ/EWU championship game thread

26-24 Griz, 3ish minutes left until half-time. Really rugged, tough game - both teams playing superb defense. Both teams don't really look in sync - not too surprising with 3 games in 3 nights. Great game so far.

I agree with you, on that one. The NCAA tourney lets them play...usually. The Big Sky officials worry about the "game getting out of hand" and it makes the teams look subpar...

Yep, Total of 22 fouls called. Luckily, the Griz do not have anyone with more than 2. Miljkovic for EWU has 3.

The Griz held the Eag to less than 30% on 2-pointers and 1-for-8 on treys. The Griz ended up at 40% on twos (after a horrible start), but also only 1-for-8 on treys.
 
Alpha1's fat Mexican girl friend left him stranded on the tarmac in Vegas. No wonder he predicts we lose by 12! He has been crabby of late.

Travis is switching players and he needs to. We look tired. I think we can play steady and we will walk out with a win. We are keeping their 3 pointers in check. Harvey not wining the game for them although he is a big threat. Griz are playing good D. We can do it guys!
 
As is my tradition for most Griz sporting events, I stripped naked except for my loin cloth and instructed my twin nubile Ukrainian pool girls (Inya & Onya) to rub my body down with olive oil like an ancient Greek warrior. Beer is chilled and I'm ready for the second half.

I believe she prefers to be referred to as rubenesque. But that explains a lot!!
