As long as you are happy getting rolled in the playoffs............then good on you.

I have a higher standard, just like the Rhodes scholar selection group.

Let's get rolled first and then we will assess. For now, we just beat the scats and skeagles, and I am stoked. This D is fast and has very good talent at every position. We lack a big talented nose tackle, that's the hole.

He doesn't understand the game. He just likes to big a mouth on the internet and drink. Occasionally, like the broken clock, he gets something right, but he isn't even doing as well as a broken clock this year. His schtick has grown old.

I agree. And now the offense has come alive again, the offensive line has improved, and the team is quite healthy for this point of a season.

Maybe I will get the boys back together for a playoff run..........24/7 AG1 for one more week sounds about right.

A higher standard? Like Maroon Blood and its 12 whole members? The way you suck d*** and court controversy on your little fiefdom is a joke. It's not 2010 any more, you're irrelevant.

Anyone that thinks a defense that gives up 500+ is doing a good job should probably never hit submit again. It's a different game than 1887 :coffee:
You know what you can do with your damned statistics! As Mark Twain said about statistics, "......" Well, you know what he said.

The presence of BG is the biggest factor in the improved OL play; he is consistent with his timing and they know where he will be. He does not have happy feet and is good at stepping up in the pocket. Their run blocking is still inconsistent.

Where is '75, who harped on one stat that proved to him that our QB should be Simis, not BG....

The way Brady has looked the last couple weeks you have to feel we will have a punchers chance in the playoffs, he has gotten over his overthrow issues from early in the season and with our 4 receivers we're always one play from a score.

The defense...well didn't really look inspired after halftime...don't know if the score factored in or what, but they'll need to bring it for 60 minutes from here out, and having that one guy we were missing today won't hurt either.

Agreed. And I have been indicating all along that not having him, and then not having Chalich, was having a large impact on the season. Chalich and Simis performed admirably and well at time, but they are not Brady--at least yet.

Actually the "stat" was an entire game, forced to play a "simplified" offense, which turned out to be at that point our most successful game, point-wise, of the season against an opponent with a credible defense, a team that won over PSU and MSU.

The winning margin in that game, incidentally, was a full touchdown more than our win today and that team had beat MSU by six points; so you can call it a 13 point difference in the UND game over the MSU game. I suppose there is a different way to spin it if you wish.

Please tell me you didn't just apply the transitive theory to football.

His "overthrow" issues were mainly his 3 picks in the CP game, when he had sore ribs from the NDSU game which caused him to throw from his back foot and not follow through. A few overthrows to the swing pass/bubble screens too. Some people used to complain about JJ too, not knowing he had significant shoulder issues/soreness too.

I see you Alpha. Stroking Cat p***y over on BN. You're a joke. You've become a parody of the character you've created.
I used to look forward to Alphas post. Now he's just trying too hard.

Exactly
