that's what i wrote.

With the usual wet blanket caveat.

the usual brainless response from someone who reads what they want, not what is written. the griz looked great. so far this year, they have for the most part looked like a great team, with very good performances from every group on the team, i.e. line, linebackers, etc... but it is college football, and strange things happen over the course of a season. have you ever watched college football before? just curious.

I didn't see it, but on the surface this looks like a very impressive win for UM.

The Brawl is going to be FUN.

Yep. Cats will move up to #4 after barely beating unranked and hopelessly non-defending NAU at home. Davis will drop two spots and we will move up to 17 at best.

Seriously though, we saw a major reversal in the poll last week when #18 Villanova beat #5 Towson ... in a game that went into OT. Villanova moved up ten spots (into the top-10), although Towson only dropped five spots. (That big a jump hardly ever happens, BTW.)

Could that happen for the Griz? Being another week into the season, I have my doubts ... but it's certainly not out of the question.

I could care less where we are ranked as long as some of the teams we are up against remain in the top 25 or are at least getting some votes.

I imagine coaches if anyone now know we are legit, expect some love there. And then there's Sagarin and whatever else.

I'm just suprised Craig Haley's kiss of death may be losing some of it's luster.

This is one of the first game threads in recent memory where there was hardly any “chicken little the Sky is falling” commentary after Griz struggles....

Maybe because other than the first couple drives there were no “struggles”? Lol
