Here is the link for the Colorado St Broadcast. They can't pronounce Hasquet correctly though, they say Hass Quett :tounge:

Dang, 50% from 3-pt shooting? 6k in the stands?

Nice for college hoops to be back. Especially at 2-7 on the gridiron.

I have said for years that the problem with support for the griz basketball had nothing to do with griz football or the remodel of the gym. IT HAS TO DO WITH TAKING THE STUDENTS AWAY FROM THE FLOOR. Do the right thing and restore the ZOO! Every school that has has significant home court advantage has the crazy students next to the floor. One of my favorite memories from going to school there was showing up an hour before the game and not being able to get a seat in the student section. I sat in a different section and watched Mark Seltzer (Billings Senior head coach and Glascow graduate) lead the student section to cheer the team to a win. I remember the opposing teams complaining that the students were right on top of them and distracting. MAKE IT A PERMANENT CHANGE.

I realize it's a good sized Griz lead, but I don't like the fact that the crowd is basically out of the game right now.

It isn't going to be just like old times the 1st night. I remember when Griz fotball resurgence began there were a lot of fans that didn't know when to yell or be quiet. If the Griz play hard like they are tonight it will all come together. I bitched when they moved the students off the court, props to O' Day for having the stones to give this a shot. It is up to the students if they want to make it permanent, all they have to do is show they want it by showing up each game and getting loud!

Griz are looking VERY good tonight. Of course, it's easy to look good when you shoot they way they have, especially from 3.

But this is the stat I LOVE:

With 5 minutes left, the Griz have 6 turnover. Six.

That's fantastic, and I don't care who you are or who you're playing. What a way to start the season!

CSU may be young, but they have talent. They had the #32 ranked recruiting class in the country.

This is a PASTING. It's gotta open some eyes. CSU perhaps ain't Duke, but as Backer said, they ain't Whitworth.

Griz by 33!

The other thing I'm hearing besides the student section being a HUGE boost....

CSU is pretty much terrible.

The positive is the Griz didn't play to the level of the competition and they put it on them when they had a chance!
