What do you think is only explanation/reaction I have not seen on Bobcatnation re their loss today?

  • They need to fire Boatwright (their OC)

Did the bubcats win the coin flip today and defer? That was a surprise to me. Just like Idaho, the bubcats are not adept at playing from behind (not two + scores behind), and they are very much more comfortable when they don't have 2nd-and-long and 3rd-and-long on offense. But they have great players and will be a dangerous 4 or 5 or 6 seeded team (six seed would be on the same side as the 2 seed?).

Gut tells me they will be 7. They got really lucky today with some other teams losing.
 
The correct answer is: The refs stole the game. As of the time I had been on BCN, that's the one explanation I had not seen for their performance. I had seen many references to the other reasons (and, btw, I messed up the name of their OC: it's Housewright, not Boatwright; my apologies). There were many calls for firings and they did not want to face us again in the playoffs.
