GRIZ/cat mens thread

The refs let them play, too much contact. It resembles rugby instead
of basketball. They shouldn't be surprised when it gets heated b/t opponents.
 
I love it too, tons of passion. I don't mind Cherry doing what he does, because it does come within the framework of the offense. You can tell he can absolutely do everything he wants to do on the floor.
 
Nice dish by Cherry, he is just filthy good. We are missing shots, point blank and we are still up by 16.

Will Cherry is really good, and just a Sophomore. Maybe as good a point guard as UM has ever had. UM has no depth at point guard, and Will Cherry cannot get hurt (or foul out). Cherry plays close to 40 minutes, and needs to be on the court for UM to succeed.
 
In deference to Tinkle, I think there are few, very few guys like Cherry, so why not use the guy. He was just out of control there after teh double foul, and merely thought it would be a good point to give him a breather.

The last 6 would be a good time to get Autry some more time, at we are up by 19.

Cherry leads the team in assists and is second in the league! That was a bad foul though!!! Steward is a stud!

No disagreement. If I were in Tinks shoes, I would play #5 too. With Cherry getting his 4th foul and sitting, we will see what the guard tandem of Wood-Stockton can do tonight.
 
They are getting good looks, just not getting the ball to fall. I like the ball movement. It is one thing not getting open shots without Cherry on the floor, but they were.

I think the Griz are tired...would like to see Autry....
 
Agree...missed our last 6 ft's...

This is where depth would help...at least in theory...but this is the way it has been all year...
 
60% fromt he stripe will get us beat against a decent team. We're lucky the scats are not decent.

Dissapointed to see how poorly our second unit played tonight. There really was a big gap between the first and 2nd unit tonight.
