Look at the words and phrases 75 used in this thread: blowhards, pomposity, "undefined malevolence," arrogance (like 5 times including "inexplicable arrogance"), "thanks for the lecture," humiliating, obnoxious, embarrassing, "highly presumptuous and condescending."
All because he does not agree with a FAN'S prediction on a fan message board.
If there is a bigger douche bag on the internet, I have not come across him yet.

To me it blows my mind that someone could hate Stitt so much that those are the only words that can accurately convey the feelings he feels over his disagreement with me.

I do like Stitt, but I like winning more. I just happen to think Stitt can get us to winning football again. And I still do.

Mind blown? Too late.

Pointing out your hyperbolic euphoria of just a year ago doesn't mean anyone "hates Stitt," so much, it is merely pointing to your own hyperbolic love affair, and extremely bad judgment, that continues to embarrass you because you were, simply, so wrong in such a hyperbolic fashion at a point in time when a rational and reasonable person would have been more cautious. Hope for the best, sure. Predict the Second Coming? Tighten the screws.

Stitt had the run of luck to be expected when a lower college level coach tries to move up. Doesn't mean he's a bad guy, doesn't mean he's not a good D2 level coach. Doesn't mean the team isn't capable of doing better. By all accounts, he's a great Dad and at a certain level, a damn fine coach.

Your efforts to falsely demonize him is characteristic of your effort to need to try and demonize anyone who caught you in the "flagrant hyperbole" of the year award, in your own words and no one elses.

1. Griz- We got another year under Stitt's system, hes got HIS guy at D coordinator. Talented roster, lots of battle tested kids returning.
BadLands hates his own words. And that's because, in context, they make him look like a fool. Say what you will about Stitt. Those are Badland's words, and he hates that.

Well, he keeps proving it. Stitt? Perfectly fine guy, great family, good D2 level coach.
nar, yet?

Stitt proclaimed himself the "second coming" when he showed up and I wanted to believe he was right. Well...still waiting.

In fairness, I dont recall Stitt proclaiming much when he showed up. But, yes many others did. The hype was impressive as I recall.

I hope it all gets fulfilled this season...

Precisely.

As I have repeatedly pointed out, it wasn't Stitt but certain hyperbolic acolytes fired with the fevers of unjustified imaginations and flaming hero worship, trying out of ignorance to create a hero-worship unwarranted by the actual facts, and the fact that he was a 15 year D2 coach with a middling record overall.

"Lots," he said, "he" being "BadLandsGrizFan."

To paraphrase a line from the movie "Secretariat", "... One bad year can happen, but two is nonperformance."

In order to get to a 4th year Coach Stitt has got to show significant improvement in virtually every aspect of the game this year. I am not saying he has to win every game or get to the playoffs. But this team has to show improvement on offensive efficiency and play calling, taking what the defense gives you rather than running off a preset list, developing a game plan that early on takes into account the inexperience of both the O-line and the QB.
On defense, what can one say? Better execution, more discipline, maybe one scheme instead of several.
On special teams, attitude, more attitude and then still more attitude!

All of these things are attributable to coaching. As many have said this team is not short on talent. Neither was last year's team. Certain units lacked experience, just like they do every year. But good coaching recognizes this and works to correct it. I failed to see a whole lot of correction as last year wore on. If that does not happen this year Coach Stitt and his staff do not deserve another shot at something less than mediocrity!

Lol so now this sociopath feels he is able to;

1) Determine when someone else feels embarrassed, because you say so
2) Say when someone "hates their own words"
3) Determine when someone feels they look like a fool.

You are legit psychotic.

I truly mean this when I say this, but I truly truly feel bad for everyone in your life, friends, family, fellow employees, or just a random poor soul bartender whos Oasis you may happen to stumble into one night.....

From the bottom of my heart I feel bad for those people.

It gave you something to stew over while on time out...so I consider it a success. Much like giving Nelson Mandela a book to keep his mind fresh in prison....

If Mandela was a giant dbag whom everyone hated and nobody aspired to do the things he did or say the things he said....

Most people would have the good graces and common sense to say "oops."

It is obvious you don't.

Beat it to death. You made a fool out of yourself and your "football knowledge."

Once again.

So this tread is about Griz an cat facts and you slappies turn it into a Stitt thread and who is the worst poster... I will make it easy. It's a tie. You all suck.
