I'm only a pedestrian fan and am loathe to defend ANY cat fan however ILTC is a good one. I'll take his rational, good-natured posts over those of cats25 or 6 to 4 anyday!

With all due respect I really don't think that many Griz Fans hang out on bcn. Some but very few.

personally i don't really care. it's what makes the boards fun. but i can think of 15-20 regular posters on BN that are griz fans. some just trolling, most offering a lot to the board. i really don't think there is that many more cat fans posting here regularly but i'm not sure why it matters.

in addition, i'm not sure what the issue GSG has with me other than i dare to not use capitalization. i don't stir crap up and don't even talk trash cat-griz week. i understand people see "cats" in my sig and just assume i'm here to stir the pot. but perhaps some people should read a few posts first before flying off the handle.

80% of the scats posters here are good posters...the other 20% are a complete waste of skin.

You're right, any Griz fans wasting their time over on bn ARE losers in my opinion. It's one thing to come join the fun every once in a while, especially this week, it makes for some fun banter. But you, my friend, live here, constantly poking people in the ribs, hoping that we notice you. That is why I call you loser. If you need validation from us, or find it soothing to finally be having a better season, you have problems. For $100/hr you can get help with that. Leave your basement for a bit, & go ask your mother if you can borrow the $$ to help set you on a better path of life.

again...what have i done to "poke you in the ribs" or beg to be noticed?

i'm fortunate enough to be self-employed and have a lot of time to visit these boards. the discussions are always pretty good and at the very least entertaining. if the worst thing i do is spend too much time discussing sports on a message board i'm fine being a "loser".

i don't need validation for anything and haven't even mentioned our teams football seasons. just a normal guy with a wife and great kids and i enjoy talking sports when i'm not busy with clients. if that bothers you so bad perhaps put me on ignore? then i suppose you won't have to deal with my rib poking....

Alright then, he's just getting the brunt of my annoyance with them. Plus he doesn't capitalize! That, combined with him/her being a cat fan gets under my skin.

appreciate it. it's all anonymous and i really don't mind that some guy who has no idea who i am or what i do for a living despises me and my lack of capitalization. just found it odd that for some reason i really rubbed this guy the wrong way.

Never referred to any post. Just his fandom & his (non)capitalization. Not an english major, but all grammatically challenged people bother me. It's not that difficult.

Yep, coming from the guy who's watched virtually every snap since the mid '90s & season ticket holder for more than a dozen years. Didn't actively get involved on here 'til '09, mainly to answer the App fans that came on board before our semi-final matchup (that's where there's only 4 teams left). Their fans were respectful & had mutual admiration for our program. Once I got on board here, dealing with disrespectful scat fans has been somewhat comical. A program that has enjoyed & experienced similar success to ours (App) knows what it's like to have weaker programs like yours kicking us in the shins trying to garner our attention. Like I said, there is mutual admiration & respect. But you guys? Ha! Funny shit. But hey, that's the name of the game when you're the big boys on the block.
