GRIZ/BYU game thread

BYU has a state of the art broadcast center. That is part of the reason they went independent, so they could broadcast their own games when not on espn.

Don't know about directv but my Comcast cable is HD.

Must be a Utah thing. It ain't HD on Comcast in Seattle.

Yep. Says that in small lettering on my TV too. But since it's in standard def, it's very difficult to read.....
 
Griz showing their weakness with Hutch and Cherry out and now with Ward having 4 fouls it will be tough to hang in the second half. Very impressed however that they have stayed in touch after that weak start. Kept their composure and ran some sets. Key turnovers and slow attacking offense have hurt them. Also---as the sterling Cougar announcers so aptly noted, their slow reation on weak side "D" led to far too many BYU tres and they are deadly from beyond that stripe. Like Deshieds passing game--kid has good court sense. And Kareem had some excellent drives.

If we play with patience and talk on "D", maybe we can make it intersting in the second half :)

We have to use our assets, and clear out for our guards. Our on the ball defense has been good, the backside defense has to be a lot better.
 
Holy MOFO. I can't believe the hatchet job that byu is giving to our guards on EVERY trip down the floor. I mean, they're not even trying to hide the fact that they're hacking away. The officials don't seem to mind, though....

Commercial just came on and explained that it is HD in Utah through cable provider and then a few other states through AT&T u-verse. This is why I could never be Mormon... When I die and get my own planet I would need to have HD service.
