I am curious how the Griz basketball does their travel arrangements.

I assume that they will bus to Pocatello. How early do basketball teams get there????

The griz will bus to Idaho St./Weber; EWU/(bus to portland)????????; Fly to NAU and Sac;

Anyone have any ideas, i am just a little curious.

EWU to Portland weekend: Bus to EWU fly to Portland (unless bad weather like last year they bused from Portland to EWU) fly back to Msla. or vice versus.

Sac/NAU Fly to Ariz. (Phx I think) bus 2 hrs to NAU, Bus 2 hrs out of NAU fly to Sac fly home

ISU/ Weber: Don't know. Bus to ISU

Bus to MSU.

Last year they stayed at the Marriott in Portland (remember the Pillows)

That's all I know some of the detail might be a little off.

A lot of times they eat on the bus a crappy box meal.

Thanks for responding to my eating question. Actually, I was trying to be sarcastic, sorry. I really don't care where they eat or how they get there...just whether they win or lose.

I can not talk about the Griz directly, but the Cats eating arrangements used to be, the coach would pick the pre game meal / location he would take suggestions but he made the desition. The most important issue is that the coach always picked a place where the team could get a balanced healthy meal at a resonable cost. Fast food was out no Pizza hut / McDonalds. Ussuallly a steak house or even a pasta house at times. A lot of lunch boxes at times and at times they would let the teams vote on a place for non-pre game meals. MSU had a diabetic on their team quite a few years ago and they would have special meals and snacks prepared for all trips just in case senerio.
