I do agree at least the Secondary will improve once Loud returns which will hopefully allow more options and blitz packages with a shutdown corner in the game.

For me personally for the love of God Pease add in some Jet Sweeps and don't run an under center Wildcat pitch to the QB which is also a RPO on 4th and 1 when your stud RB was at the time 2 carries for 37 yards and its 4th and 1.

It's a load of crap that both of them went after you like that, unfortunately it's also not surprisng.

Last two Sac State drives were just to burn clock it looked like to me and the defense let them creep down the field. The stats were not as bad as what we had if you take those two drives out of the equation.

You are 100% correct. People bitching about the D late in the 4th don’t understand Bobby Ball. He had a big lead and went prevent. Those last two scores were meaningless. I mean, the last one was with SEVENTEEN SECONDS left. come on people. Enjoy the ride.

Not true. UM has thrown a pass on play 1 in 6 of the 8 games and completed all 6 of them. UM ran for 29 when it handed to Gillman yesterday. And handed to Gillman against UND too, for no gain. In order, completed to Wortham, to Davis, to Davis, to Davis, to Wortham, and to Fonoti.

It seems like you haven’t watched much Bobby Ball. Honestly, I’d be more focused on the 26 minutes of shutout football BEFORE those last two meaningless TD’s. We had a 21 point lead with 4 minutes to play. Bobby’s just shortening the game…total points mean nothing.

You know I've been around forever, and just because I've seen years and years and years worth of Bobby Ball, doesn't mean I have to like it all the time.

I think Sac was a better opponent than a lot of people thought they were going to be. They are loaded with talent but also don't play as a team and are really undisciplined, hence the load of penalties. If they could figure their crap out they could be a really good team, and if that happens I'm not so sure the Griz win last night. But of course I'm happy for the win..

To be honest, part of my frustration with the defense is that I really wanted us to make a statement in this game and win by four scores or more. Obviously I need to continually temper my expectations considering who the head coach is.

I agree. The game was basically 49-21, and they scored the last two. TDs off the prevent, and Bobby giving the backups some experience. Yes, Bobby, the coaches, and the players would loved to have not given them up, but the game was over. Can't people be happy that we're 8-0? Please relax, all you naysayers. It's a process.

I did. Watched last quarter. The North Texas QB is a RS Freshman. His coach pulled him out in 4th quarter and then allowed him to return to go after the record. I believe he passed for 608 yds. All time record for his team and his conference. North Texas is a prolific offensive power house.

UM held SS to 141 net yards. Coming into game, SS was averaging 247 and 4th in FCS in rushing.

SS was averaging. 5.79 per carry. Griz held them to 3.3 per carry yesterday.

UM had 6 sacks yesterday. Coming into the game, SS had allowed only 11 sacks for the season.

UM has 10 sacks in last 2 games.
