I disagree. Our defense will do enough for our offense to win any game.

After tonight I'm doubtful of this, we played well on Defense for 1 quarter of an entire game. There were a few bright spots outside the 3rd quarter, but giving up those last 2 TDs was just bad and Pease's awful play calling late in the 4th didn't help.

I love the Griz and want us to succeed, and to do that we HAVE to fix those issues, theres 0 wiggle room on that, at least that's why I focus on them. Plenty of people (myself included) celebrating and pointing out the good things that we did.

Back to the game instead of this irrelevant banter about playing the Dakotas or the cats……if you guys get a chance to run it back and watch the game again, watch Schafer in the run game. He straight up shit cans a few guys throughout the game. He’s an extension of the OL & is quite possibly the most physical guy we have up front.
We have a good football team and fuck that bullshit that we’re lucky to reach the quarterfinals. We have a tough football team with a lot of talented skill players. This team can compete with everyone.

The defense will vastly improve when Kyon Loud returns. We did hold UND to 23 points and i am Starting to think UND is a top 5 team.
I’m surprised there’s much griping. I thought they played pretty good tonight. I’m pretty sure we just out rushed what was probably the best rushing team in the conference. I can’t get the stats on the espn app for some reason. We took away what they did best and made them try to beat us through the air. It’s actually a pretty impressive performance.

Freaking storm. Hasn't rained here in forever and a little rain and out went the lights. We kept TV somehow but lost internet otherwise.
Last two Sac State drives were just to burn clock it looked like to me and the defense let them creep down the field. The stats were not as bad as what we had if you take those two drives out of the equation.
What say you all?

We rushed for 160 and sac state had just 141….. that’s dominant rush defense guys, especially when you consider they rushed the ball 43 times!
We gave up 337 in the passing game. That’s not going to help our abysmal pass defense numbers, but they were also never really going to beat us passing the ball. We did exactly what the defense needed to do in that game

Man I love this offense. The OLine might not be the greatest we've ever had, but they have consistently found ways to get the ball in the right guys' hands in creative ways (although sometimes a little too creatively, tonight lol).
Defense concerns me, but Sac was going to cause us problems when their guys got in space. We won't face athletes like this again until the playoffs (if ever).
As some probably know, I was very nervous about this game, and I am extremely relieved that we got the job done. Way to go, Pandas!

I also thought the Griz played pretty good considering this is their 8th straight game, playing on the road with a short week of preparation. The boys get Sundays off, so they only had 3 days of practice on the field to prepare for Sac. But leave it to the typical twats on here always complaining and shitting on the Griz even after we just won. Talking shit like our defense sucks and we won't be able to beat the Cats or Dakota teams. So to those people STFU!!! Seriously shut the fuck up. We just won a big game on the road to go 8-0 and your Karen ass is complaining. We always have those types of negative fans that bitch and moan even when we're winning. Why the fuck are you even in here? And no your comments aren't keeping anything real. And to those fans who continue to complain STFU.Just because your life sucks, doesn't mean our Griz suck.
