They lost to this same team by 24 at home. That's a 32 point turnaround. I'd say, yeah, that's some defense. The slow down was a reason for the closer game, and, as a team, they need to learn how to slow it down and run the play. But this is a much improved team that is learning how to win, and doing it successfully. Give credit where credit is due. Going into Greeley and beating his team was no easy feat. The defense was 35 minutes of great defense, and an 8 point victory is quite an accomplishment. Go Griz!
You seem to have missed the first part of your sentence. The fact we were up by 21 on a team that crushed us at our court clearly demonstrates my point. That they wouldn't make a run is a silly notion. Our defense held. Huge statement win.
