GRIZ at NAU

Keys for the second half:
1. Protect the ball
2. Intensity on D
3. Take some time on O, get the best shot we can.

Gotta come out of the lockerroom hard and make a run to start the second half.
 
NAU was very physical in that half. The last few minutes the officials started calling all of the hacks and grabs they were not early on. If they continue to call it a little tighter, I think the Griz will be fine.

The Griz also MUST start knocking down some 3s. The way NAU is playing -- pressing, in your face defense -- the Griz must make them pay by hitting some open jumpers.
 
Chase is in because Tinks has to rest his starting guards with the style being played by NAU at 7000 feet. No Will means guys like Chase are going to have to play 5 mins a half and play well. Chase was fine, only one turnover during his time. That's better than anyone else on the floor..... :o

Griz are down a guard (Cherry injury). Maybe Adams had a good week of practice and earned some time?

Playing at 7,000 ft elevation may lead to more people getting minutes.

Adams is from Tucson. Maybe Tinkle's giving him a few minutes to play in front of friends and family?

Perhaps, just to annoy you?

Why does anyone care about the midmajor poll?
 
Wow...up till now, I thought the Griz were a pretty good team....guess this is just not their year...not even close....
 
NAU, Cam Jones specifically, is getting hot.

And the Griz are slipping up in all aspects of the game. Even a timeout doesn't seem to help, TO.
 
How in the hell do we go in one week from feeling like something truly special to just another same old, same old Grizzly disappointment.
 
Stockton is simply not very good....I wish Tinks would put in the bench for the rest of the game. What could it hurt....this team is showing they have no heart......truly a disastrous road team.....ah, well, not the end of the world.....
