Yes I would. Does Seattle have problems? Of course. What place/town/city/state/country doesn’t? That said, I’ll take Seattle’s problems over those in 99.95% of the world, including many places in Montana.

Look, if you dislike a place because of the political viewpoints of .001% of a populace, the issue is with you, not the location.

I actually dislike the place because of the political viewpoints of about 80% of the populace. Does that make a difference?

It certainly makes a difference in the discussion about whether you're a political nutjob or not, yes.

This clearly puts him in the non-nutjob category! :thumb:

So you hate half of the United States.

So in your eyes I’m a political nut job if I don’t agree with the political slant of Seattleites?

No, he thinks that because you "dislike the place" because of politics.

So you would have us believe that everything is cool in Seattle?

Yes I would. Does Seattle have problems? Of course. What place/town/city/state/country doesn’t? That said, I’ll take Seattle’s problems over those in 99.95% of the world, including many places in Montana.

I dislike the place for its disdain for the police, law and order and property. It takes more than .001 of the populace to achieve that. Who are you trying to fool....

If you come out please stick to Seattle. But preferebly You need to stay in Columbus and get your thrills at the Atlas. Stay off of our rivers here in Washington. Stick to the Yellowstone, I am tired of running you dopes out of my fishing spots. We're being overrun by your types.

I won't be coming out to either Seattle or Portland and I don't fish so I am no threat to your heaven. Stillwater Co. has excellent fishing, the Yellowstone is not near the top of the list. The Beartooth mountain lakes are fabulous, but you need to be ready to hike.

Sounds like it's all good.

No. You — or anyone, right or left — is a nut job if they dislike an area because of its politics.

Here’s a list of a few places I LOVE in the US. See if you can find a common denominator:

Seattle, Tennessee, Texas Hill Country, San Diego, NYC, North Carolina, Hawaii, Montana, Phoenix (Nov-March), Calif Wine Country, Boise, Austin, Greenville, SC.

Find the common denominator yet? It’s this: I love places because of the place and what it offers, not how people vote. Because if I did that, I’d be a political nutjob

Well, if you ever find yourself in HB, #1 let me know because I’ll buy you the best fish taco you’ve ever had, and #2 stay on the north side of the pier if you’re surfing before 7am. It’s a pretty good break. The dudes on the south side can get territorial about the big lefts if they sense you’re not local. It’s kinda all we care about politically here.

I’m a notorious lefty, but I spend a lot of time in Trump Country. I get along just fine with the people. Just like I do in Seattle and Portland.

It’s nice being able to go anywhere I want.

My first attempt at surfing was at HB just north of the pier; back in the long board days; I can claim little success. It only looks easy.
