Griz at EWU predictions...

No way the Griz hold EWU under 42 pts. The Griz D is Good but not that good. Eags scored 44 in Fargo on a better Bison D.This one will come down to Stitt and Brady coaching and playing well enough to put up 45 plus. I don't think it will happen Saturday.

I want to believe in this team, and hope that they come out with a magical game plan...BUT, until they can prove they can go on the road and get a big win, I've got to follow my head instead of my heart.

Griz 56- EWU 24. I was convinced having watched bits and pieces of eastern play last weekend this would be a blowout until we took the field. Eastern doesn't look that great. MSU is horrible. The first half was a stand off pretty much. MSU did everything it could to aid eastern. I am hoping we can rebound and not commit the stupid turnovers in our own end of the field and this will not be that close. We have to get defensive pressure just like last year. Kup will make his plays but really shouldn't matter. Their defense is horrible.

Methinks the Eagles prevail 58 - 46 in a game with no punts and at least 1200 total yards of offense. Gage Gubrud gets injured in the second quarter but EWU brings in some chubby spandex-clad baton twirler from the drill team and she throws for 300 yards and 4 TDs in the 2nd half because Beau Baldwin is a friggin' QB guru.
 
No way the #16 ranked team can beat the #3 ranked team at home.....

Considering that no one, including NDSU, has really stopped EWU's offense this season, I expect a bit of a track meet. If the Griz stay healthy, focused, and execute, then:

51-49 Griz (miss a PAT somewhere and get a field goal, D gets enough of a stop to give the O a chance for a late 4th quarter scoring drive for the win)

If not:

52-35 EWU

I wonder if the NAU debacle will still be in BG's head, he's dreaming of over throws every night, and so....continues to be the same. Hope he & the rest of the Griz wake up at game time.
 
This one won't be close. EWU will throw over the top at will and Kupp will torch us for 200+. Griz will score because Eastern's D isn't great, but no way we can keep up. 52-27 Eagles.

This game will define the 2016 Griz. If they can't get up for this one and play hard they don't have the heart of a champion. Last Saturday was a disaster. With that said ewu has the edge.......

I think that the Griz D read too much about how dominate they, were and for a change we overlooked NAU because they have not played up to where they were picked early on. I am sure that the entire team is ready for EWU. I have watched EWU who does not seem to play very well in the first half but is much better in the second half of games.
