Win.
That is all.
That is all.

I am much more confident about this team going forward.
43-0 before pulling the horses back is not good enough for you?Spanky2 said:indian-outlaw said:This was a really nice win IMHO. I honestly thought this game would be a nail biter on the road. I really think this was a bigger test than last week and was a big improvement.

You can’t be serious?

My comment was based on the previous poster stating it was a good win. I don’t agree. Nor do I believe playing a team like Utah Tech prepares the Griz for conference play.
We aren’t in the same conference so don’t have to play them in a non conference game——especially on a home and home basis. Our AD knew they would be an easy win when he scheduled them. Finally, it’s a real stretch when you refer to them as a Division 1 program to argue your point. Maybe, in 20 years they can be a credible program, let’s say 5 years, but not now.EverettGriz said:Spanky2 said:My comment was based on the previous poster stating it was a good win. I don’t agree. Why? They're a full-fledged, fully-funded DI program. Is it Montana's fault that they're just vastly superior to Utah tech? Look, there are only 10-12 fcs teams in the entire nation who are as good as the top 5-6 in the bsc. Do you tell me: how do we schedule those teams every year?

I couldn't disagree more. You can crap on Utah Tech but they have some very capable athletes. Just look at what they did last year toward the end of the season. Beating them on the road convincingly says way more about us than it does about them. The griz improved drastically from week one to this week and that is what we are all looking for.Spanky2 said:We aren’t in the same conference so don’t have to play them in a non conference game——especially on a home and home basis.
