Almost exact thing happened to the Griz last year. Win big in the Brawl and get rewarded with a bye and then get the winner of a Missouri valley vs Big Sky team. Last year we got EWU……

I’m thrilled that the Griz got in! I will be there next week and I hope all of you are as well!

I think for the future of Griz Football, the worse thing that could’ve possibly happened was missing the playoffs. In a year where you have super high expectations and you fail to miss the playoffs could be extremely detrimental to the future of the program. Now you get in and you have a chance to say that we had all these things go against us and can still win a playoff game and a chance to play spoiler against the mighty Bison. I suddenly feel a lot better about the future!

True, I think we were a 6 seed. With the regionalization of brackets, the Big Sky and Missouri Valley will unfortunately be grouped together quite a bit.

Easy. We gotta get past SEMO. I’m watching some of their games today to get an idea what we’ve got coming to Montana. They’re no slouch. Hopefully our fans show out and support our guys, it’s going to be a tough game
 
We got in because we took 2 top ranked teams to the wire with a backup qb. Sac St only won because of a shit ref call. Should have beat them on the road with Brown as qb.. that play decided that game. Let's be for real. The griz are not as bad as so many want to try and make it. We aren't great by any means but, we aren't bad. Msu obviously prepped well against us. They had the team that was ready to roll. Hopefully both teams can manage to make it to the championship and we get a rematch!

It's been 40 or so years since FCS playoffs have come into existence, and yet people like Cuervohola still think the first round is a matter of seeding.
