Griz are going to beat Sac St

An offense that generates 220 yards total offense and has a TOP of less than 18 minutes against a mid tier team at home does not generate such optimism.

Ding ding ding. We’re losing by 2-3 scores if we don’t have a complete 360 from Idaho. Our offense will continue to be bad no matter what so I don’t have much confidence

I hope you meant a 180. A 360 would just put the Griz right back to how they ended up at the end of the Idaho game.

I hope for a 540 with some style points. Maybe a huge method air or something.

That math will get you a face plant every time and only get you close to where you were before. Besides, we’re not shredding that kind of gnar gnar right now. Start simple, bru.

Come on. You both know he was artillery. They have 5600 mils to calculate.

Meth isn't the best choice...

0 teams. Are rushing for 250 yards on us... 0. We'd see a team pass on us for 400 before we let a team get 250 rushing yards. That's the most ridiculous statement I've read on egriz. Sac may pass for 250 but, not rush. 150 max and that's a stretch. SS might get 125. They do have a top 10 fcs running back.

Might get 125? Yikes… gonna bookmark this hot take.

No shit! Scatteboo or whatever, might get 125. lots of picking with the heart, not the head going on around here.....

I think it's funny how many move-up posters who like to mock by saying "we are just little ole Montana, we couldn't possibly compete in FBS", are now saying "we lost a game by a TD, so we can't possibly beat mighty SS".

Losing the game by a TD when we score one with 32 sec remaining against a prevent is not the story that projects. 220 yards total offense and less than 18 min TOP projects more clearly. Last year SacSt outgained us 456 to 272 with 37 min TOP. We are serious underdogs. We can win, there is a reason they play the game.

You are missing the point. The point was not that UM lost by a TD. The point is a lot of mover uppers who mock by saying "we are little ole Montana" are now saying "the Griz, who lost a game, can't possibly compete with SS".

Where are all the Griz fans who follow and support their team? Why are they hiding? Why don't they have confidence in their team? Do you think Alabama doesn't think it can get to the playoffs or national championship? Are they saying that they lost a game, and now they can't compete with any good team?

Just my view.

Can't imagine they can run on the Griz. SS can pass too.

I don't see SS being able to score a bunch of points as they have so far this.

I know SS is good. I just don't see the Griz losing to them.

It’s called “blind homerism”.

Any objective fan should be able to see an avenue for losing, specifically to a top 5 team.

As a Sac State fan, I feel the Hornets are the better, more well rounded team. But that doesn’t mean they’ll win.

I can definitely see a path where Montana comes to Hornet Stadium and wins. That outcome would be disappointing, but not shocking.

While I believe the Hornets will win if they play well and mistake free, I recognize that Montana and their fans feels the same way.

We’ll see on Saturday which team plays better in terms of unforced errors and which team is able to force the other into more mistakes. That’s the team that will likely win.

UM is 6th in the nation in rushing D, giving up 72.6 per game. No way on giving up 250 yards.

If this is the game you wanna play, then Sac State is the only team in the FBS or FCS that hasn’t trailed at any point this season.

So “no way” they trail or lose to Montana, right?

Throw season statistics out the window with regard to predicting future outcomes. They mean nothing.

Sac State has the ability to rush for a lot of yards against MT and MT can lead and beat the Hornets, regardless if neither end up happening.

Yes. We shouldn't move up until we go 5 straight years without losing a game.

IDAHO put up 30 on us, FFS. I can see Sac putting up 45, honestly, because they won't use 8 minutes of clock to do it.

That was ISU 10/1 Spanky. This week it's SacSt; try to catch up.

Howdy Kem! Griz will win….whatever the score. Fair weather Griz fans will be able to strut again.

Being realistic doesn't make us bad fans, Spanks. Nor does being myopic make you a bad fan.

If we hold you guys to 125 on the ground, we'll very likely win.

Best case, I think we hold you under 180. Anything close to your season average will likely mean a very long night for us.
