I have watched the last two Griz games and observed a team not prepared to play. Bobby acknowledged the loss was on the coaches in the post game interview. I expect he will have the team ready to play and they will be focused Satruday. It's a shame this seems to happen with his teams every year, that they need to drop a deuce or two to wake up to the fact they have to earn their ranking every week. If you read the folks on this board before Idaho State you would have thought the Griz were invincible, and they have played like they believed it too.

I agree, Hauck is a shit motivator, as proven in some games every season.

And these players are NO WHERE talented enough to just show up an win.

Sac St hasn't played a team with a winning record this season. Colo St. has 1 win. CP, Utah Tech (1 win) and UNC. Only decent FCS win is UNI. Talk about not having been tested.

Griz have played one team with a winning record, and they lost that game.

And Udaho wins were against weaklings Drake, NAU And NCU.

I wish I had any kind of confidence that the Griz can beat a very good Sac State team on the road but after the last two games my hopes were crushed.

Your fears are not unwarranted.

I want the Griz to win. But this game will be a loss.

The inability to consistently run the ball and extend drives will result in a Sac State win by 10 or more. I would like to be wrong. Please let me know if I was.

Inability to consistently run the football!?!? What, you mean 1st down and less than a yard and a cloud of dust offense UM? They are pathetic.

I will say it one more time and then let the game be played.....we are going to crush sac st. After the game I'll be back to gloat a bit and then it will be on to Weber where some will still be worried about that one too.
....

Gloat? You are going to need your old departments Jaws of Life to pry your foot out of your ...

Sometimes ya gotta poke the grizzly to get em fired up

Unfortunately that's true. They can't fire themselves up on their own, it's SAD. You get a handful of games a year, and you come out FLAT!?!? How disgusting.

He couldn't offer any reasoning (because there is none but his wishes), must be time to make the doughnuts.

If we hold you guys to 125 on the ground, we'll very likely win.

Best case, I think we hold you under 180. Anything close to your season average will likely mean a very long night for us.
SacSt is not one-dimensional; they put up 302 and 3 TDs in the air on us last year. And we're again vulnerable to the quick, short passing game that they feature.

Yes, and we still have non-athletic, small linebackers pretending to be safeties. It's not going to be pretty.

By playing Griz hard nosed football the entire game! The kind of football we played last year against Washington when they were ready for the showers at half time. By our OL kicking ass and opening holes for our backs that’s how.

Washington was "...ready for the showers by halftime."??? Montana was LOSING at halftime, sunshine.

How BAD are these satisfied Griz going to be curb stomped in Sacramento?

Do you really truly believe the griz will be curb stomped in Sacramento? If they do fall short they won't be curb stomped. It's pretty rare for Montana to lose two in a row. Griz traditionally play awesome after a lose. That is the most likely scenario win or lose

Damn dude, we get it. you think they are going to lose. ease up a bit. They are just kids, and I'm sure they will give it their all. I will be rooting for them, and hoping for a win. Have some faith. and just STFU with all the negativity.

Cotton is 6’1”, 204 and very fast. Was recruited to UM as a corner, after being a safety at Oregon St. He is very athletic. Is listed as having started at safety the past 4 games.

If we win, he'll disappear, only to show up whenever someone isn't heaping enough praise onto someone from Butte.

Where did UM get all these bad fans?

Exactly what I was thinking. They are only fans when the Griz win. We better not move up because we could lose a few games and the stadium will be empty.

Agreed. None of our safeties are “unathletic”. Nor are most of them “small”. In fact, they’re rather large for safeties. They may have skillset shortages, but they’re not unathletic. Pretty stupid statement.

Meth isn't the best choice...

0 teams. Are rushing for 250 yards on us... 0. We'd see a team pass on us for 400 before we let a team get 250 rushing yards. That's the most ridiculous statement I've read on egriz. Sac may pass for 250 but, not rush. 150 max and that's a stretch. SS might get 125. They do have a top 10 fcs running back.

Might get 125? Yikes… gonna bookmark this hot take.

Skattebo had 84 rushing yards against Cal Poly, had 67 against CSU, 124 against UNC
. The Griz have by far the best defense out of any team you guys have played. Quit smoking meth
