Despite seeing some hateful posts towards ISU on this board, I still hope you slaughter Weber tonight, and I'm confident that this will be the case. And I'm sure your assistant, Bill Evans, will do a fine job as ISU coach, and we're excited to have him!

BTW, I'm sure many of you remember when Chris Spoja played for the Grizzlies about 14 years ago or so. Yesterday I ran into her daughter, Peyton, and asked if she was any relation to Chris, and he said that he was her dad. I had no idea that Chris was living here in the Boise area, and supposedly he's an officer in the military here -- I would think that he's at Gowen Field, which is a very small army base near the airport. Peyton is a 7th grader at North Junior High here. I believe she has an older brother as well.

I know that Chris had played for a professional team in Billings after his playing days in Missoula were over with, and he was studying pre-med at the time. But I take it that he couldn't get into med school back then, but now has a fine career in the military.

I got a chance to talk with Chris and a few of his teammates about 15 years ago on a flight from Phoenix to SLC -- they were sitting across from me. They had just played NAU and were making the long flight back to Montana. But anyway, just thought I'd let you know.

Griz cover, bet the ranch.

I did. :D :D

Having lost $220 on Tuesday night's game (where I lost both on Griz failure to cover AND on taking the under on total points), I was a little hesitant on Wednesday, but I bet everything I had left in my 5Dimes account (most of it house money earned during the FCS playoffs and FBS bowl season) and put all $770 on Montana to cover.

Now I just hope the feds don't close down 5Dimes before I get my money out.
