GRIZ and LG basketball scrimmage posts here please

Tinkle also praised how well the defense and rebounding was. He gave AJ the most plugs, but also mentioned Young, the length Selvig and Qvale bring to our defense, and finally he likes the versatility Selvig brings to the team. That was about all I remember.

I understood those comments about the individual players as to what he likes about the team for the coming year when asked about the season upcoming. I may have misunderstood but did not connect those comments with the actual scrimmage against WSU after all it was a secret scrimmage.

You are right, the only comment associated to the Wa State scrimmage was that he like our defense and rebounding. He really did not get into much detail about it.

I heard the interview at halftime and I got the impression that they were out quicked. He said he saw some things that he liked but they did not shoot the ball very well. He also said that it was great playing a upper DI school that was in the pac 10. In other words he praised the competition and said that it showed what they need to work on. Bottom line they got schooled.

Pretty accurate up until the "they got schooled" part. This is far from the case.

GB1 Shhhhhhhh it was a "Secret Game"!

BTW Rumor has it that the Lady Griz lost to Deja Vu by two in over time. Deja Vu had a lead of 14 points late in the second half. Baker did not play due to injury. Smith his 4 three pointers and along with De Boer played quite a bit for the freshman. Ena had a good second half, and Beck had a solid over all game.
