Griz 88, Bengals 85

Griz won their second game in a row against the Bengals, 88 to 85.

Didn't watch it, but from what I heard, Griz won it in the last 10 seconds. Criswell basket and a technical foul.

Griz were down by double digits at one point with less than 10 minutes to go. So, this time were able to finish it.

This is the first winning streak this year.

Way to go Griz.

Winning basket and 24 points by Kevin Criswell....Double Double (14 points and 10 rebounds) by Roy Booker and 16 points and 8 rebounds by Kamarr! Lots of contributions from others (e.g. 2 clutch 3 pointers by Steve Horne in the second half.) According to Mick Holien, the GRIZ were down by 13 in the second half. There was no quit in the GRIZ tonight!

As an EWU fan, I would like to thank the Griz for beating ISU tonight. An ISU defeat and an Eagle win over NAU sealed the conference regular season for the Eagles. The Eagles will get to host the Big Sky tourney. Go Eagles!!!

I would like to correct something I said in my post. This is not the first winning streak, but the second winning streak this season. Griz did win the holiday tournament during thanksgiving holiday, which was two in a row.

Also, if/when the Griz make the playoffs they will be coming to the place where they may have played their best game of the year...so far.

A nice win over ISU and a road sweep. Did I read that ISU had a crowd of 2,150 at the game? Ouch! I am glad the Griz BB team is playing better and wish them luck in the remaining games.
