Griz 80, Bengals 63

Griz came out hot, Bengals started out real cold.

That combination lead to Montana going out to a very large lead in the first half. If it weren't for one ISU player that scored 34 points, the game would have ended even more lopsided as it was. The game wasn't as close as the final score was. Griz got a little sloppy and lost quite a bit of intensity at the end. Happens when a team has a very large lead. Outcome was never in doubt anyway.

Anyway, Kamaar Davis lead the Griz with 20 points, and Criswell had 15 points.

Seyfert playing against a smaller ISU team had a very good game with 12 points and lead the team with 9 rebounds. He also shot the best I have ever seen him shoot from the freethrow line all season, making 6 of 6 freethrows. Way to John.

Overall, Griz shot 50% from the field. That makes both games this week shooting 50% or over from the field. Plus, teamwise this is the best I have seen them shoot freethrows, making 21 of 27 for 77.8%.

For ISU, Logan Freeman, a redshirt freshman, scored 34 points on 13 - 24 from the field, 3 - 4 from 3 pt line, and 5 - 6 from freethrow line. Maybe if the Bengals had anybody else to help out with scoring, this game would have been totally different. Nobody else scored in double figures for the Bengals.

By the way, there were 4,973 fans in attendance. It was helped by having this cheer leading squad that attended to perform at half time, and a large group of singers that performed the national anthem.

By the way, My eyes must be getting real bad, or I am getting absent minded, but the ISU player that scored 34 points is Logan Kinghorn, not Logan Freeman. I do not think there is anybody on the ISU roster named Freeman.

PSU up 40-29 at halftime, EW down 10 with 3+ left. Huge game in Bozeman next week 7-2 vs. 6-3.

How does it feel that the men Griz are now expected to sweep the home games and at least split the away games. Seems like old times doesn't it.
Go Griz
Way to go Krysko

:o :o At times it is more fun than old times. Krysko lets them run if it is there instead of everytime in the past it was make a play or two and then time out and then set back in the defense and try not to lose. Krysko has them agressive on offense and defense at all times. No hustle no play. Does not always work but they are getting better at it. They had a chance to win the two games they lost at home but learned from those mistakes. :o :o

I told you that you wouldn't have any problems with ISU. Great win, and we'll see you all at the brick for a HUGE game on Sunday!
