Griz 79, PSU 65

Wow, March 5, 2005 will be basketball day for UM.

The Griz will be starting it all off at 2pm and Lady Griz finish the day off starting off at 7 pm.
If you like basketball go to both games.

Today was one of the best games I have seen the game so far. Griz turned the ball over only 7 times for the whole game.

Matt Dlouhy had another big game scoring 18 points.

Kevin Criswell scored 24 points, 12 - 16 from free throw line.

Kamarr Davis scored 21 points, 9 - 15 from the field, with 1 of them a 3 ptr.

Martin had one awesome game at point. No turnovers, and ran the offense effectively.

Corey Easley also had a very good game scoring 10 points.

If Montana wins Monday, that will be such a confidence builder for next week. So, come on Griz, beat NAU.

Plus, they won't have to play NAU again. NAU is a dangerous team that could light it up any given night. I also like our chances against EWU after the game we played Thursday. It really deflates a team when you beat them at their own game.

There was mention on the radio of the playoff game being moved to Friday night. Hopefully that doesn't happen as I'll be flying into Missoula Saturday morning and I'd like to catch a men's and women's game.

I would like them to move the whole tournament a week later. Your more fortunate than I am, as I will be missing all basketball games next week. Be out of town, out of state, on the other side of the country. If Lady Griz beat NAU, and Griz didn't lose to MSU here in Missoula, this weekend would have been very anti-climactic. Lady Griz would have clinched, and Griz would have sewn up second place. But those are for the what-ifs.

I am going to miss one exciting weekend.
