Griz 2011 recruiting

I have had a few post on the following Griz recruits the past 3-4 days on my blog. I have a couple more that I will be posting in the next couple days, unless they sign elsewhere. Things are hoping and it seems as soon as I hear about a Griz recruit he commits else where. They have already lost potential recruits to Portland, San Diego and Long Beach, although i will admit I am not sure what the Griz interest was in those recruits. Griz have only one senior this season so so not a lot of scholarships to give out this season.

Miles Chamberlain 6-4 G/F Madison Wis.
Mitchell Farr 6-2 G Racine, Wis.
Haki Stampley 6-3 G Milwaukee, Wis.
Seth Hinrichs 6-6 SF Clara City Minn.

Also keep an eye on Trinson White of Milwaukee Riverside who I did a post on a few months back. I continue to hear the Griz's name associated with him.

The Griz really have not been recruiting the State that hard.

Parsons was rumored to be receiving serious recruiting interest (and possibly offers) from the Bobcats and Griz last year at this time but his stock has seemed to have dropped since then. Last year at times he relegated to coming off the bench at times, and while CMR was the best team in the state with Josh Huestis leading the team I would figure a sweet shooting 6-7 player should have found a starting spot somewhere in the line up. I saw him play a few times last year and while he definately has some skills he seems to disapear at times. He did play this summer at quite a few recruiting camps like Huestis did last year so we will see.

Danny Little of Sky View has committed to the Bobcat so I think he may be the only D-1 player this year.

The real prize in the Montana prep class right now is junior to be Riley Bradshw from Corvallis. He has been turning heads since last summer. MSU and UM might not get a shot at him as he is getting a lot of attention from west coast D-1 schools and he may follow the lead of Josh Huestis and simply court out of state schools.

You can also add to the list
6-7 Stuart Wesonga of San Marin high School in California
And
6-5 Kyle Noreen will be visiting this month

I have created/updated the 2011 recruiting list for Basketball and football on my blog.

Tinkle offers Mitchell Farr (6-2 PG) from Racine, Wis. they are expected to do an in home visit this week.

6-2 Point guard Jordan Gregory, from Pueblo Colorado East high school will be visiting Montana September 26th and Northern Arizona on October 2nd. I think he will be at Denver this week end. I did a profile on Gregory on my blog this past week end if any are interest.
