It was only a matter of time before Sanders got the start at Strong Safety.

Yep. Many thought he would when he transferred in.

And Rassmussan gave a half-effort "attempt at a tackle", on a ndsu TD run nonetheless. That play alone probably got him benched. I hope to see better from him. And I am sure we will. Still scratching my head though...

It may also be a case of horses for courses. A LB sized SS to play more like a LB. Manu played like a red-shirt freshman in his first game at it was a national stage. He missed a tackle and bit on the first TD, better games to come from him I'm sure. In the mean time with Kidder having to sit, glad we have Sanders to help bring some lumber in run support.
