Actually that statement is being charitable (a lot). The Bobcats* have have been mediocre to awful (with two exceptions) since they went from Division II to 1-AA in 1984. From then until 2010 (twenty-six years!), they were 144-151-1, with all of four winning seasons. They were champion or co-champion of the Southland and went to the playoffs twice: 2005 (when they made it to the semifinals) and 2008 (when the Griz sent them home from the first round, 31-13).

They were so-so after that, going 11-11, but somehow got a wild hair to move up. Since then, through 2018, they have compiled a 46-71 record ... going 3-9 last year.

* The school was originally Southwest Texas State College then University. They went to Texas State University - San Marcos in 2003, and then just Texas State U in 2013. They currently have nearly 39 thousand students, so they obviously feel “too big” for FCS/1-AA.
 
This thread is dumb. Gresch did a lot for Griz football. As a freshman no less. Grown man tearing apart a kid for transferring. Should UNLV fans be tearing into Sneed?

Come on Griz Nation, stop being Jackasses, we are better then this! Stitt was our coach and for the most part, the majority of Griz nation supported the man until he didn't produce. Gresch was his QB he brought in and the kid gave 100% to Griz football. When the school parted ways with Coach Stitt, the new coaches saw a different approach to winning for UM and Gresch wasn't the best choice for this strategy. The young man moved on in hopes of pursuing his college football dream. I wish the best for Coach Stitt and Gresch Jensen!

I told them no thanks, the Griz are in the process of returning to dominance and Sch1tt and Groschlager Jensen were all theirs.

Pretty sure most of Griz nation has come to terms with Stitt and Gresch. I think it’s just the OP that still has issues, and he’s got a lot of em.
 
What the Hell?. When i read this shit, I want to puke. Posting crap about a young Man, and a dedicated Coach. Who, and Why????
