Except there are no facts, only your conjecture.
In your mind, a 3-5 conference record, loss to the Kats at home, and watching the playoffs on TV is just "conjecture."

No, but it is conjecture to assume things would have been different with TG, or anyone else for that matter, instead of JS.

Ty Gregorak and MSU throwing out some "Alternative Facts". :bs:

See 75's post above. Perhaps you reversed the alternative facts. How can you possibly think UM's '15 season was not better than it's '16 season, that the Cat D was not much improved in '16 than in '15, and that it didn't handle the Griz O in '16?

Who is 75?

I can never remember which one is Ace or Gary.

I don't see how Gregorak can make such a statement as we showed some improvement last season but we have a long way to go...

As I said, let's see your answers to this, get em and HHB. You two don't have a clue about football.

"How can you possibly think UM's '15 season was not better than it's '16 season, that the Cat D was not much improved in '16 than in '15, and that it didn't handle the Griz O in '16?"

PR, pretty sure that I have never made a comment on this specific question the entire thread. But to answer, I do think UM's 15 was better, but the reason is not TG. Second, the Cat D was better in 16, but was it possible for them to be worse? What I did say, is that I don't believe the Griz 16 would have ended better with TG as the DC. #ReadingIsHard

Of course, the Cat D could have been worse this year. It was in fact much better, and much better than expected. Why can't you just admit that?

Again, Griz would have beaten the Cats this year, had TG not gone to the Cats. Griz O was throttled, except for 1 play. One-dimensional Cat O ran over the Griz. Again, you are welcome to your opinion, but, as I said, I don't think you have a clue about football--so your opinion on football means nothing to me.

I like to chuckle at some of you who make fools out of yourselves by refusing to admit the obvious.

It doesn't seem that I said it wasn't anywhere.

Pure speculation. You can assume, but that doesn't make it so. As someone noted, would the Browns have 5 Super Bowls if Belichick were still the head coach?

I chuckle because everyone can see your big hardon for TG no matter what.

There's a couple very happy cat fans around here. And not the ones you'd expect, or maybe they are.

No, the Cat D couldn't have been much worse, but they finished the year as one of the best defenses in the league and no one expected that. Not even PR or 75.
2015 - MSU was 8th in points allowed, last in total defense, second to last in rush D, and 10th in pass defense.
2016 - 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 2nd in those categories.

Some shade? More like a total eclipse. Have you seen the size of that dude's head? His carb-cheeks would make Mama June blush, if he didn't eat her first.
I heard that as part of his compensation package, Tyler requested a water bed so they threw a tarp over the shit pond

I noted at the time that letting go of one of the conference's most successful DC's, who generated unparalleled loyalty and respect from players made no sense in the context of replacing an experienced D-1 level DC with an inexperienced D-II level DC whose motivational skills are, at best, pedestrian. Those just aren't reasonable or rational decisions.

There was no way, at the time, that the decision made any sense, although commentators here claimed that Stitt would be liberated by having his own complete staff in place.

I also remarked on the genius level strategic brilliance of letting a key motivational coach go, to be scooped up by the in-state rival on the look-out for exactly that kind of experience and talent and who knows how we train, the playbook, all of the strong and weak points.

Well, the results are in. The Griz were "liberated" mainly from having a highly motivational experienced, D-1 DC. First time I have ever heard game-play commentators refer to the Grizzly D as "in chaos." It's been a long time since a Grizzly Offense was so completely stymied by a Cat D. All very "liberating."

I have the sinking feeling we are going to be paying a painful price for that "staffing decision" for a while to come.

Ty's rubbing our noses in it, in a minor "rivalry" way. Sure. He earned it.

Can someone with current access to a computer find the John Wick meme/gif where he's saying "ya, I'm thinking that I'm back" ..... I think that would be perfect right now

I haven't clicked on this thread in some days.

I knew today when I saw it at 8 pages that pr and Verbose75 must have come rushing out of the penalty box.
