A rival coach posts something to twitter to piss off the opposing rival.
Opposing rival fan message board gets mad.
Opposing rival coach responds with a tweet that makes the fanbase proud (or something) again.
Rinse, repeat for the entire offseason.
(None of it f***ing matters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Wrong, that doesn't sound anything at all like what Stitt did in 2015.
His offense was ranked below the 2014 offense in every major category.
Scoring - 2014 was sixth, 2015 eighth
Yards per play - 2014 was sixth, 2015 was 9th.
Yards per run - 2014 was 5th, 2015 was 11th.
Pass eff. - 2014 was 10th (137), 2015 was 11th (122).
And we went through 3 quarterbacks, brand new offense, and a true freshman running back. All behind that offensive line. Anyone who watched that first year could see the progress.HookedonGriz said:getgrizzy said:brewskis said:Sounds identical to what Stitt did with the 2015 Montana offense. All valid points. But so is the fact that JJ, Canada, Van, and company were superior playmakers to those that followed....at least so far.

In other words there's no comparison between what Stitt did in his first year here to what Gregorak did in his first year at MSU. None.
I'm guessing he was put in timeout.BadlandsGrizFan said:UMGriz75 said:Well, what he "does" is significant when he takes a first-year defense, and a team that should have had no morale left at all, and keeps Montana's vaunted offense to 17 points. Ya I'll need a bigger sample size to prove that he can sustain that, also everyone knows our offense was not great at the end of the year. I think having a tougher qb will help that immensely.
Good to see you back 75...this place was beginning to be way less douchey without you.

Similar to 2012 when it was Tyler's first year as a DC?UMGriz75 said:There is "a" comparison.getgrizzy said:In other words there's no comparison between what Stitt did in his first year here to what Gregorak did in his first year at MSU. None.
The team with Gregorak as DC went 8-5, beat the Cats, and went two games into the playoffs.
The team without Gregorak as DC managed a 3-5 conference record, lost to the Cats, and watched the playoffs on TV.

No. Referring to head coaches and their staffing decisions.BWahlberg said:Worse than the firing / non renewal of Pflugrad?UMGriz75 said:Worst staffing blunder in modern Griz history.
