Ty is a good Coach. Glad the Cats have him. We all throw the bs on here about each other’s schools but I have to agree, having Bobby back makes it a lot more fun. Let the competition begin again. Good luck Griz. However, it is a new era. It will be a lot tougher this time around. Looking forward to it!

"It's a new era, it will be a lot tougher this time around".

We heard the same thing from Earle Solomonson. :thumb:

Yes you did. But, I think you will agree things have changed greatly in the BSC since Earle. The Griz are no longer dominant. Have not been for years. Not a knock on you guys but it is a fact. Not saying the Cats are going to dominate. Just saying the conference is much tougher.

Yep, just say that to yourself 5 times in a row right before bed. It might help with the nightmares and the obsession.

Thanks again for posting on e-Griz!

And that is exactly what Hauck has been hired to fix. "Return to Dominance".

Ok, I'll be honest, I like what I've heard about Ty. This article is a great example of why we should have never let him go. It is also all of the evidence we need to officially name him a defector, and wish him a long, touch career getting his as* handed to him.
Good luck Ty, 364 days a year. But remember...

WE are Montana!!!

Lol, the incredible shrinking school is no longer WE are Montana. The BIG school in Montana is now MSU with close to 17,000 students.

Maybe those future engineers could chip in $5 each and their brains to come up with a plan to paint your piss stain bleachers. 17k or not, your facilities are a joke. We are kicking your ass on that front too.

   Paint... :thumb:

You are right; the Griz have not been dominant recently, but they have not strung together three successive losing seasons, either. Exactly one losing season (5-6) in the last 32 years.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHHAHAHAHHAHA
The fall back lame kitten excuse again... Attendance... Lame

Gonzaga only has 3000 students but would kick the kittens ass by 30 every time thy play BBall

Attendance has nothing to do with quality of sport team
Gonzaga would beat the piss out of every team in basketball in the BSC.

So you agree that enrollment has nothing to do with it.

Thanks! :thumb:

I'd have to agree here. Obviously he didn't get bobby's message hammered into him enough if he went over there.

That being said, I watched the 2015 game against north dakota state last night. the fact that we gave the ball back to them with 2 minutes left and down by 4, and our defense held a team that is known for being able to run the ball and run out the clock... that was one hell of a defensive stand. Ty was a great defensive coordinator. When he left and semore came in... our defense went waaaaaaay downhill after that.

Gregorak is right upon there with Dennison...

Would not even put flames out by pissing on them if they were on fire.

Seriously? Dennison built this university into a growing institution, and was a huge supporter of athletics. The enrollment grew every year he was here, and declined every year since he retired. That is all the evidence I need. You don't speak for my view of him.

I agree. Dennison was terrific for UM for most of his tenure. Some have said he didn't take some great decisions in his later years. The critics should try to identify a better UM president. I think Dennison is the best.

Contact CDA, he's got a plan. It's pretty complicated so be sure to set aside some quiet time to understand it fully.

Sure helped get a lot of buildings built and long term debt bonded. Seems at least some of today's evident issues regarding programs, costs, enrollment demographics, etc. were on the horizon and unseen during King George's days.

Out of curiosity, what issues, specifically, were on horizon? What issues regarding programs? What enrollment demographic? Was enrollment going under Dennison? Wasn't football doing well, actually extremely well? Was he supposed to predict sexual assault stuff, and assault by the Missoulian on UM, that would occur years after he departed?

Yup, lots of buildings? Perhaps too many. Do you know which ones have bonds that are causing problems now? My impression is that at least athletic ones were pretty much funded, except for the North EZ expansion (and that got paid off easily with the new ticket revenue). I assume the Washington building or buildings were pretty well funded by the Washingtons.
