Greetings!

I went to school in Tacoma for a year. I never called it Tac Town. Maybe, uh, what's that smell, lol.

I'd be saying this even if I wasn't a un-apologetic Cat fan, but the Huskies better hope its not a "good contest" if they have any aspirations of a National Championship. They are ranked high enough and need to be good enough to win the NC that the griz can't play them close. Say we take the App./Mich game where Mich was ranked 5th? Michigan showed they weren't a NC contender in that game. So realistically to me, UW should dominate if they can compete for a NC. That's not routing against the griz, that's just the reality of what UW needs to do in this game if they want to compete for that NC. Does anyone think that EWU plays Alabama close if they played in previous years?

Totally agree, I just hope that if the Griz do make it respectable, they get the credit they'd deserve, not just "oh, well UW must be REALLY bad if UM was able to keep it close".

...you got to love the pacific northwest...
...all but the one big horrendous glaring problem...
...everybody is on one road and nobody knows how to drive...

... ...

I agree. I don't really care what the final score is. I'm hoping for 3-4 legitimate drives and three scores for the Griz. If it's 70-21, I'll be happy. If it's 35-21, I'll be ecstatic.

TTD, welcome to eGriz. And thanks for your post. I too am hoping for a competitive game, but I have serious doubts about it occurring after watching our defense last week. We may move the ball on occasion and may even hang around enough early to cause some grumbling from Dawg fans, but I'm afraid this one gets out of hand by the 3rd Q.

Nonetheless, one thing you can be certain of is that Husky fans will be treated well from Griz fans. We travel well, but we understand we're in someone else's home, and we'll act respectfully. And thanks for the invite to your tailgate; I've got a mixed bag coming with me (half Griz fans, half Dawg fans), so we'll try to hunt you down.

Bama, Ohio State, Udub, Clemson

JMU, NDSU, SHSU, Jax State

Speak for yourself, I plan drinking natty light and fighting people in the tailgate area

Hey, what happened to Taco Dawg? He was here for a minute, and said he wanted to discuss the game, then he apparently headed back to Taco Town. I can't blame him. I like tacos, too.

I love tacos. I miss Taco Time. Every place where I live tries to be too "authentic" and stuff. Give me the ground beef on a hard shell like a real American taco any day. Also, the Kung Pao at the Cheesecake Factory is some of the best Thai food in all of little Tokyo.

Speaking of which, I was recently at the Cheesecake Factory in Minneapolis and they have the calories on the menu now? My fucking lunch was like 3000 calories...I don't want to know shit like that when I go out to eat. Bad marketing in my book. Good though.

Well with a name like "Cheesecake Factory" they could probably do without the printed calorie count.

#fuckit

I think it's a law where I live. I can't even get an authentic cheese steak at Carl's Jr. At participating locations for a limited time only without being reminded of how awful it is for me.

What a bunch of bullshit. What's the point of having a triple half-pound burger topped with a pound of bacon if they test your cholesterol halfway through the meal and ruin the mood? Be like taking your wife to a strip bar...not quite the same.

Calories on restaurant menus was an executive order made by Obama that was supposed to take effect this year. But, Trump rescinded the order right before the effective date, after most restaurants already started posting the calories.

Does this mean the American public can now sue Trump if they get fat?

I liked Taco John's when I was growing up, or "Taco Jack's" as we called it. Great burritos! Remember Wayne Nance, the Missoula mass murderer? I think he worked there once. I hope to hell he never made a burrito for me.

A couple of years ago I think the Griz would have given the Dawgs a better game but lately we have slipped into mediocrity. At the same time or fans have somewhat accepted as much. The Griz?... well we have lost our swagger. Not saying we'd win but our lads would have showed up with that in mind. Now it seems we only want to keep it close. I was on the sidelines when we played Tennessee and the game was closer then the score showed, It wasn't until the 4th quarter when the difference in scholarships/depth started showing. Every kid wearing Maroon and Silver believes they're good enough to play at the FBS level so they will try and prove it and leave it all on the field. We'll play hard and draw inspiration from the environment. Just like teams coming to Washington Grizzly stadium play with their hair on fire because they rarely get to play in front of that big of a crowd. I wish you were playing one of our better teams not one that is rebuilding. It will be close right up until the KO. BTW We respect you guys so much we named our stadium after you. We also travel well. So post some Grizzly warnings. They'll attack your coolers and steal you ladies. We travel so well in fact when we play EWU we call that Eastern Washington Grizzly stadium.
Go Griz!

I only go to restaurants like that have an EMT & Defibrillation @ the ready. I can have salmon salad & Chardonnay with my wife next to her kitchen stripper pole anytime.

Ps. Loves me some taco time. If they'd had that food truck in my day, my grid would have been substantially smaller.
