Green Bay Vs Dallas

Green Bay gets screwed on the spot.

This is ridiculous the home job the cowgirls are getting.

Well... game over, but really I'm not that upset about this. For having everything stacked against them (calls, penalties, injuries) to be in the game and lose by 10, and only down 7 with a 1:00 to go. I'll take it. And quite honestly a healthier Packer team would've won this game.

First off, the winners 2nite, the Cowboys. Tony Romo is simply amazing, his vision and ability to adjust makes him the best QB in the NFC. Earlier I was putting Favre ahead of him, but after 2nite there's no way I can say Brett's been a better QB than Tony this year. TO is good, but seems to play sloppy with drops, and that tipped int. Seems like he plays hard when he wants to.

As for the Pack, I hope Brett's OK first off. 2nd, I love Ryan Grant's hustle I hope he develops the rest of this season and over the off-season, he seems like the next Dorsey Levens in the making. Without Woodson, KGB and Favre this team just couldn't stack up. Considering though they played well enough, and I really do believe that if fully healthy they could beat the Cowboys. Also, it was fun to see Aaron Rogers play well, I think the future of this team is very bright.

As for the penalties and calls, here's some of the key plays:

- On their 1st series the refs don't call a face-guarding penalty on 3rd & 1, Pack kicks a FG instead of a possible TD.

- On the Cowboys 1st series Al Harris obviously takes the ball away from TO in bounds. Missed call, and missed on the review b/c the ref blew the play dead. The lost challege costs the Pack later. That led to a Cowboys TD.

- Two players tangle their feet going for a pass and after minutes of talk the ref who saw the play is over-ruled by one who wasn't nearly as close. That puts Dallas at 1st and goal instead of 3rd and long, Dallas gets 7 shortly there after.

- Ryan Grant is clearly over the line on the Pack's drive that led to their last FG, a bad spot and the lack of a challenge causes the Pack to kick the FG instead of get a 1st down and go for a TD.

There's a 22 point swing right there (two Dallas TDs and 6 Packer points instead of possibly 14.

Also add in that I think the Pack was penalized almost 180 yards to Dallas' 65. I'm not screaming conspiracy, but someone could make a case.

Good game, and hopefully these two teams will meet in the NFC championship, b/c I think the Pack would win it.

Go Pack!

As a packers fan, I'm not concerned whatsoever. Once rodgers came in and we got back to our usual playset instead of that deep shit every other play, the packers offense rolled. As far as Romo being better than Favre, not so sure. The playcallers kept trying to force the deep ball. On the days when we run our slants and crosses, favre looks as good as romo. Then when you add in KGB and Woodson, winning in Dallas really does not worry me at all.

I hate to be one of these guys but the packers really got homered in this one. The early should've been interception, the PI where he tripped over himself and the call was made 40 yards away, and the spot on the Ryan Grant run really stand out as very questionable calls.

Penalty yards

Pack 142 yards
Dallas 65 yards

But I'm with you, this loss doesn't really piss me off, at all. In fact it was encouraging to see guys like Grant, Rogers, & Jennings continue to play well.

I see two glaring needs for this team:

- A replacement for Atari Bigby
- A nickel DB (could be Williams with more experience)

The penalties hurt but you take out that iffy PI call and it's a lot less. I know, it looked blatantly obvious on TV. You zoom in, not so much.
The guy with the best view of anyone said it was incidental.

I think we can win with the personnel we have. KGB pressing Romo and Woodson floating over the top should make a world of difference.

Go Cowboys! :thumb:
I know if I were a cowboys fan, i wouldn't be that impressed. Just saying.

Much like our Griz, the Cowboys couldn't seem to put their collective foot on the Packer's throat last night...TO drops a td pass and has it bounce right into Harris' hands for a pick, etc...No, as a Cowboy fan, I wasn't impressed...guess that makes me a hater-LOL!

At least you won... packers did that to the bears earlier in the season and lost... should've been undefeated heading into this game.

Dallas wide receiver Patrick Crayton played against Carroll College in the 2004 NAIA title game. He was their QB. CC beat Northwestern Oklahoma State 41-28. Crayton was amazing but NW OK had no answer for Tyler Emmert.
